Families step back in time…

On Saturday 7th August, over 150 people took part in our family learning activities based on the theme of “home.”
Families of all ages enjoyed creating their own animal masks (the Tower used to house a zoo!) as well as prisoner inscriptions inspired by those in the Beauchamp tower.
Our Tudor costumes were a particular hit. Everyone had the chance to dress up as a Tudor noble, with our grown up costumes being the most popular! Our fantastic new costumes for smaller children also went down a treat and provided excellent photo opportunities for parents.
A great day was had by all, with many people enquiring about our programme of family events. Our next family fun day will be on Saturday 4th September, and activities will be based around the theme of coronation. Expect jewels and sparkly things galore!
