The Tower hosts its ‘Take One…’ CPD days

Following on from my post about The Tower of London as London ‘Take One…’ Champion, I thought I’d write a quick update about our CPD days for teachers and sector professionals.  The training days were held here in our Education Centre just before Christmas and the turnout was fantastic - 26 teachers attended our teacher event and a staggering 42 representatives from some of London’s leading museums, archives, heritage sites and galleries attended our sector event.   

Our teacher representatives came from the London boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Southwark, Hackney, Westminster and Lewisham and after a fun, inspiring day at the Tower they are now working with their classes to create some wonderful ‘Take One…’ projects.
