Shakespeare Schools Festival comes to the Great Hall

Hampton Court Education Service is pleased to confirm its participation in the Shakespeare Schools Festival 2010. The festival has been running for 10 years and sees hundreds of secondary schools perform reduced versions of Shakespeare’s plays in local theatres.

The Great Hall at Hampton Court is the only surviving theatre where Shakespeare’s plays were acted in his lifetime and one of the schools involved will get the opportunity to re-stage their work in this historic environment on Wednesday 15th of December. More details to come!
